I’m a UX writer for B2B SaaS companies with a background in marketing and communications.

A writer by heart, my journalism career has seen me run alongside armed police in a bid to report breaking news, interview Kiwi musical duo the Broods and Pic’s Peanut Butter king Pic Picot, and try my hand at investigative journalism as a staff reporter at Stuff.co.nz.

As a freelance copywriter, I’ve worked for many different local and international brands, such as Atlassian, Workato, GoSkills, Kotahitanga mō te Taiao as part of The Nature Conservancy, The Health Promotion Agency and Hnry.

Lured in by the stability of being a public servant, I made the move to “the dark side” – otherwise known as communications at local and central government – where I’ve led complex, multi-year digital content projects and managed stakeholder engagement. Currently I’m the UX Writer at HazardCo.
